Burgundy Grass

Grass type: Annual (Sheds its leaves in winter)

This small, burgundy grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The circular stalks grow in small clumps that are resistant and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, cyan spikelet.

During the early winter, it produces a modest amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of small grains.

It is suitable for making baskets and the like
It grows well in the sun and full shade.
It commonly grows in large patches.
