This copper moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In marshes, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is average-sized, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps, and is overwhelmingly sturdy.
When mature, emerald cylindrical capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release hundred of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.

It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
It comes in 7 varieties, each with a different leaf colour.
It is said to be able to live for hundreds of years.
