Blueberry

Fruit Tree type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This large fruit tree grows up to 41 feet (12.5 meters) tall and lives for up to 20 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 60 years old. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.

It has a flexible, wavy trunk covered in delicate, waxy, light gray bark, and inside, the hard wood is dark brown.

The small clumps of branches are very short, thin and wispy and are covered with large amounts of tiny, very thick leaves with serrated edges. The leaves themselves are sky blue and black.

In early spring, it produces thick bunches of small, amber blossoms with 4 pointed petals with a tube-like floral cup. They detach easily and have an overpowering scent that smells like cherry.

In early winter it produces tiny, finger-like fruit. The hairy blood red skin is tough and inedible, and the crunchy peach flesh is bitter and juicy. The blood red seed is small and sits at the top of the fruit.

The roots are thick and spread across the surface, as well as underground, and overall the tree is sturdy and rigid.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with grassy ground between them.

It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
