Burgundy Vine

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This small bine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 22 feet (6.7 meters)0.

It takes 2 months for the burgundy stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are smooth and rubbery.

The sickle shaped, smooth leaves reach up to 4 inches (10 cm) in length. They are light brown at the bottom and blue with gentle blue dots at the top, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the bine produces dozens of tiny bronze flowers.
