Carameliflower

This small flower grows up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. Its lime green stem is wispy, and the giant, moss green leaves are dark yellow-green on the underside and are long, tapering with ripped edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

4 to 6 large flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 5 cm (2.0 inches) wide, with alternating petals of olive and caramel, with a white central disk. The flower head is made up of handfuls of petals in raised layers. They are hardy.

It has an intense scent that smells like onion, and it has excessive amounts of pollen; it can can cause allergic reactions. It is pollinated by insects and is particularly attractive to a specific species.
