Burgundy Grass
Grass type: Perennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This modest-sized, burgundy grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The pleated stalks grow in extensive patches that are resistant and they are slow to spread and grow.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, lilac tuft.
During the early autumn, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of medium-sized grains.
It grows well in the sun and full shade.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
