Coppergrass

This short, copper grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The long, narrow stalks grow in thick clumps that are flexible.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, lilac flower.

During the early winter, it produces a fair amount of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of medium-sized grains.
