Bloodgrass

Grass type: Annual (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This giant, emerald grass grows up to 22 feet (6.7 meters) tall. The thin stalks grow in sparse patches that are prone to bending and snapping under stress.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, blood red flower.

During the late autumn, it produces lots of pollen; it can can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of giant grains.

It is very rare outside of a particular area.
The stems are covered in large spikes.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
