Bronzeleaf Succulent

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This big leaf succulent grows up to 107 feet (32.6 meters) tall. The wispy stem is green and lime green, and is covered in brittle brown spines. The pointed leaves are generally bronze. Small amounts of them grow on thick, gold branches that trail down across the ground. The leaves are frail, but do not detach easily.

It is slow growing, taking 46 years to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a handful of flowers, with petals that are beige in the center, vivid yellow in the middle and red at the edges, grow at the top, reappearing after 3 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 30 curved petals. It has an intense scent that smells like rainy days.

The leaf succulent's skin is thick, the indigo flesh is rubbery, and the blue sap is thin.

It usually houses a colony of beneficial insects.
It is almost impossible to grow indoors.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
