Bloodgrass

This modest-sized, green grass grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The umbrella-shaped stalks grow in sparse patches that are flimsy.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, blood red tuft.

During the early summer, it produces very little pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of giant grains.
