Coppergrass
Grass type: Annual (Stores water in its stem)This large, copper grass grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall. The sickle shaped stalks grow in thick clumps that are rigid and they are exceptionally hardy.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, bronze puff.
During the mid-summer, it produces a fair amount of pollen; it can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a few small grains.
It is extremely resistant to fire damage.
It is suitable for making strong rope
