Blue Spikegrass

This small, blue grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The spear shaped stalks grow in sparse patches that are resistant and they spread and grow quickly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, bronze spikelet.

During the mid-summer, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of medium-sized grains.
