Orange Rope Moss

This orange moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas In rainy mountain ranges, and In damp forests.
It is small, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches and they spread and grow quickly, and is extremely flexible.
When mature, emerald cylindrical capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release dozens of spores; it can cause severe allergic reactions.
