Magentaflare

Flower type: Annual (Stores water in its leaves)

This modest-sized flower grows up to 10 inches (25 cm) tall. Its burgundy stem is thick, and the giant, yellow leaves are fan-like with irregular edges. The leaves alternate on the stem.

Two giant flowers sit at the end of each stem. The flowers are 7 cm (2.8 inches) wide, with petals that are magenta on the underside and dark brown on the top. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 60 curved petals. They detach easily.

It has a delicate scent that smells like damp, and it has copious amounts of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator.

It has impressive regenerative properties.
