Blackbark

Tree type: Deciduous (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This modest-sized tree grows up to 50 meters (164.1 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 368 years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a slender, straight trunk covered in ridged, white with black speckled bark, and inside, the hard wood is white.

The excessive amount of branches trail down to the ground and are covered with small bunches of leathery, large, thick leaves with jagged edges. The leaves themselves are generally beige.

In late summer it forms large, caramel seed pods.

The roots are fine and grow in a large web, and overall the tree is sturdy and difficult to uproot.

Forests of this species feature well-spaced trees, with the space between them filled with thick undergrowth.

It releases hallucinogenic smoke when burned.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
