Caramelactus

This modest-sized cactus grows up to 37 feet (11.3 meters) tall. It splits near the top to form 2 wide stems. Each stem is green, and is covered in hundreds of rigid brilliant red spines. The mushroom-shaped body is orange, and is dotted with small brown spines.

It is fast growing, taking 3 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with petals that are dark brown at the sides and indigo at the center grows at the top, reappearing once every 3 years. The flower head is made up of many petals in raised layers. It has a scent that varies in strength that smells like apple.

The cactus's skin is rock-hard, the caramel flesh is leathery, and the grey sap is thin and can cause blindness if consumed.
