Blue Flame Succulent

This huge leaf succulent grows up to 147 feet (44.8 meters) tall. The thick stem is gray, and is covered in brittle slate spines. The thick leaves are sky blue on the edges and washed-out orange at the center. Small amounts of them grow on wide, green branches that are short, rigid and upright. The leaves are flimsy, but take little effort to detach.

It is very slow growing, taking 45 years to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a single flower with blue petals that gradient shift to dark grey on the outer edge. The central disk is gold grows at the top, reappearing after 8 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is made up of 14 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight star. It has an intensely strong scent that smells like ashes.

The leaf succulent's skin is delicate, the hazel flesh is rough, and the green sap is thin.
