Blue Skyvine

This short vine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 21 feet (6.4 meters) and growing as high as 101 feet (30.8 meters).

It takes 8 months for the lime green or lime stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are smooth and woody.

The slender, pointed, leathery leaves reach up to 6 inches (15 cm) in length. They are bronze on the sides and grey at the center, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the vine produces many large vivid blue flowers, and during the early autumn, after flowering, it produces plenty of small seed pods.
