Caramel Moss

This olive and caramel moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas In bogs, In marshes, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is average-sized, growing up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches and they are slow to spread and grow, and is extremely sturdy.
When mature, emerald flame-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release hundred of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.
