Yellowgrass
Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This small, yellow-green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The long, tapering stalks grow in extensive patches that are flexible.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, brown flower.
During the mid-autumn, it produces lots of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a few large grains.
