Burgundy Grass

This average-sized, burgundy grass grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The very thin stalks grow in sparse patches that are rigid and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, indigo puff.

During the early summer, it produces lots of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of large grains.
