This lime green moss is commonly found blanketing giant areas In rainforests, and On trees.
It is short, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps, and is slightly delicate.
When mature, emerald spiral capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release dozens of spores.

It is bio-luminescent.
Once on fire, it burns very quickly.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
