Caramel

Fruit Tree type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This average-sized fruit tree grows up to 10 feet (3.0 meters) tall and lives for up to 20 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 56 years old. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a long and flexible, crooked trunk covered in silky, pine-coloured bark, and inside, the very dense wood is pale brown-grey.

The abundance of branches are short stubs and are covered with very large amounts of miniature, long, tapering leaves with irregular edges. The leaves themselves are either caramel or dark green, with indigo splotches.

In early spring, it produces a handful of giant, dark green blossoms with long, tapering petals. They are hardy and have a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like glue.

In early summer it produces , spherical fruit. The hairy amber skin is stretchy and inedible, and the crunchy yellow flesh is sweet and spicy and juicy. The intense orange seeds are small and are dotted around on the skin of the fruit.

The roots are thick and spread across the surface, as well as underground, and overall the tree is sturdy, flexible, and difficult to uproot or break.

Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with the space between them filled with thick undergrowth.

Several parts of the shrub have medicinal properties.
The sap causes severe rashes
