Caramel Vine

This large vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 323 feet (98.5 meters) and growing as high as 132 feet (40.2 meters).

It takes 14 months for the drab green and cream stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 1.4 feet (43 cm) and are rough and woody.

The wide, rough leaves reach up to 1.2 feet (36 cm) in length. They are olive at the bottom and intense green with caramel lines at the top, and have ripped edges.

During late spring, the vine produces lots of giant beige flowers.
