Purple Moss

This purple moss is commonly found growing in giant clumps In rainforests.
It is average-sized, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps, and is extremely light; it takes a lot of damage when trodden on.
When mature, emerald kidney-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release thousands of spores.
