Copperwood Moss

This copper moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In bogs, and In rainforests.
It is average-sized, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is slightly strong.
When mature, emerald cylindrical capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release dozens of spores.
