Grass type: Biennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This large, yellow grass grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall. The very thin stalks grow in small clumps that are delicate and they overwhelm an area rapidly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, black spikelet.
During the mid-autumn, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a few tiny grains.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
