Sky Blue Creeper

Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This large creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 404 feet (123.1 meters) and growing as high as 134 feet (40.8 meters).

It takes 2 years for the silver stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 6 inches (15 cm) and are rough and fibrous.

The pleated, rough leaves reach up to 1.6 feet (48 cm) in length. They are found in sky blue, purple and yellow varieties, and have toothed edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces large amounts of large grey flowers, and during the early winter, after flowering, it produces copious amounts of tiny fruits.

It is suitable for making strong rope
It coexists peacefully with other plants.
The trunk and branches are covered in large spikes.
