Aquazig Shrub

Shrub type: Deciduous (Stores water in its leaves)

This short shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 28 years. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has dozens of slender, straight stems covered in smooth, light brown bark, and the wood inside is pale brown-grey.

The branches trail down towards the ground with thousands of twigs that and are covered with small amounts of tiny, thick, leaves with toothed edges. The leaves themselves are either aquamarine or caramel, with hazel zig-zags, resilient and clammy.

In early spring it produces hundreds of medium-sized, blood red flowers with 2 teardrop-shaped shaped petals. They are very delicate and have a strong scent that smells like mango.

The stems are covered in large spikes.
It has impressive regenerative properties.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
