Skyblue Glowvine

This short flower grows up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. Its yellow-green stem is very thick and straight with a curved tip, and the large, bright red or slate leaves are dark pink-red on the underside and are spear shaped with smooth edges. A pair of leaves grow at the base of the stem.

A single medium-sized flower sits at the end of the stem. The flowers are 3 cm (1.2 inches) wide, with each petal a slightly different shade of sky blue. The flower head is shaped like a sphere with 13 raised, narrow petals. They are hardy.

It has a scent that varies in strength that smells like faeces, and it has an average amount of pollen. It is pollinated by the wind, but is also visited by some specific types of insect.
