Crimson Tail Grass

This modest-sized, gray-green grass grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The pleated stalks grow in small clumps that are light and frail and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, crimson tail.

During the mid-summer, it produces an average amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of medium-sized grains.
