Yellowgrass

Grass type: Annual (Stores water in its stem)

This big, yellow-green grass grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall. The finger-like stalks grow in thin clumps that are flimsy and they spread and grow quickly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, yellow tuft.

During the late autumn, it produces lots of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of large grains.

It usually houses a colony of beneficial insects.
It can flourish even in standing water.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
