Brown Marsh Moss

This brown moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In marshes.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps, and is overwhelmingly resistant.
When mature, emerald V-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release hundred of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.
