Copperfern

This enormous caudiciform grows up to 154 feet (46.9 meters) tall. The thin stem is copper, and is covered in thick bunches of flexible peach spines. The thick, gnarled, yellow trunk can grow to as much as 154 feet (46.9 meters) in diameter. Its emerald branches are tall, rigid and upright.

The jagged-edged, long, tapering leaves are caramel on the edges and drab blue at the center. They are rigid, and take little effort to detach.

It is very fast growing, taking 2 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a handful of flowers, with cream petals that gradient shift to blood red on the outer edge. The central disk is magenta, grow at the top, reappearing after 9 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 10 curved petals. It has the faintest scent that smells like grass cuttings.

The caudiciform's skin is thin, the yellow flesh is smooth, and the gold sap is thin.
