Bloodvine

This short cactus grows up to 10 feet (3.0 meters) tall. It splits partway up the body to form 2 thick stems. Each stem is moss green, and is covered in thick sheets of flexible blood red spines. The tear-shaped body is gold or blue, and is covered in thick bunches of rigid cream spines.

It is slow growing, taking 30 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with petals that are azure at the sides and pale purple at the center, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 10 curved petals. It has an intense scent that smells like rotting meat.

The cactus's skin is extremely thick, the purple flesh is rough, and the lilac sap is thin.
