Bluegrass

This modest-sized, sky blue grass grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The long, tapering stalks grow in small clumps that are resilient and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, gold spikelet.

During the early summer, it produces excessive amounts of pollen; it can can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of small grains.
