Brownheart Moss

This brown moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In moorlands, and In marshes.
It is small, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they are exceptionally hardy, and is slightly durable; it is very difficult to kill.
When mature, emerald heart-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release hundred of spores; it does not cause any allergic reactions.
