Bluebellvine

This huge shrub grows up to 10 feet (3.0 meters) tall and lives for around 44 years. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.

It has numerous slender, angular stems covered in very thick, waxy, brown and grey bark, and the wood inside is dark brown.

The branches are short, thin and wispy with thousands of twigs that and are covered with large amounts of tiny, sickle shaped, leaves with ripped edges. The leaves themselves are light blue on the sides and cream at the center, flimsy and smooth.

It produces hundreds of large, gold flowers with wide petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They are sturdy and have a mildly strong scent that smells like onion. In late autumn it forms smallcream, winged seeds that float and land far away.
