Crimson Grass
Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in its leaves)This short, lime green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The pleated stalks grow in extensive patches that are delicate.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, red puff.
During the late summer, it produces very little pollen, but can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of medium-sized grains.
It comes in 5 varieties.
