Silverwood

This small tree grows up to 4 meters (13.1 feet) tall and lives "forever", with many known specimens being tens of thousands of years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a narrow, wavy trunk covered in paper-thin, silky, light brown bark, and inside, the dense wood is pale brown.

The tangled mess of branches are very short and thick, covered with very large amounts of huge, gray needles. The needles themselves are flimsy.

In late summer it produces medium-sized, silver aril (seeds with fleshy covers).

The roots are long and grow straight down, and overall the tree is rigid and brittle.

Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with grassy ground between them.
