Coppergrass
Grass type: Annual (Stores water in its stem)This big, yellow-green grass grows up to 5 feet (1.5 meters) tall. The 3 pointed stalks grow in thin clumps that are resistant and they overwhelm an area rapidly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, copper flower.
During the early winter, it produces a modest amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of large grains.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
It is almost impossible to grow from cuttings.
