Caramel

This short flower grows up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. Its gray stem is wispy and splits into 6 branching stems halfway up, and the giant, yellow-green leaves are fan-like with smooth edges. The leaves grow from the base and are the same length as the stem.

Dozens of medium-sized flowers grow in drooping bunches like grapes. The flowers are 3 cm (1.2 inches) wide, with petals that are caramel on the underside and black on the top. The flower head is made up of 45 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight cup. They are sturdy.

It has the faintest scent that smells like varnish, and it has a fair amount of pollen. It is pollinated by a small species of bird.
