Burgundy Grass

This short, burgundy grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The slender, pointed stalks grow in thick clumps that are prone to bending and snapping under stress and they are exceptionally hardy.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, orange puff.

During the early winter, it produces an average amount of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of medium-sized grains.
