Copper Creeper

This average-sized creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 38 feet (11.6 meters) and growing as high as 113 feet (34.4 meters). It prefers to grow on rock formations.

It takes 4 years for the yellow-green stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 3 inches (8 cm) and are tough and woody.

The wide, rough leaves reach up to 1.1 feet (33 cm) in length. They are a shade of copper that gradient shifts to cyan at the top, and have irregular edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces a thick sheet of average pale purple flowers.
