Blue Breeze Flower

This average-sized flower grows up to 8 inches (20 cm) tall. Its green stem is thin and splits into 9 branching stems at the top, and the miniature, green leaves are pleated with toothed edges. The leaves grow in pairs along the length of the stem.

Several large flowers grow along the length of the stem. The flowers are 16 cm (6.3 inches) wide, with petals that are sky blue at the sides and pastel blue at the center. The flower head is largely flat with several raised round-tipped petals. They are hardy.

It has a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like an ocean breeze, and it has copious amounts of pollen. It is pollinated by the wind.
