Burgundy Flower Creeper

This enormous flower grows up to 9.6 feet (2.9 meters) tall. Its burgundy stems grow from the base of the plant in bunches of 3 and are very thin and straight, and split into many branching stems three quarters of the way up, and the giant, green leaves are finger-like with rounded edges. 22 leaves grow at the base of the stem.

6 to 12 giant flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 139 cm (54.7 inches) wide, with solid amber petals decorated with black lines and a cream central disk. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 40 petals. They fall easily.

It has a mildly strong scent that smells like wet dog, and it has lots of pollen. It is pollinated by insects and is enjoyed by several specific types of insect.
