Copper Shield Moss

This copper moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas In rainy mountain ranges, and On trees.
It is short, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they spread and grow quickly, and is slightly hardy; it can easily endure flooding and draughts.
When mature, emerald shield-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release hundred of spores.
