Blueleaf

This enormous shrub grows up to 15 feet (4.6 meters) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 102 years old. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has many slender, straight stems covered in smooth, dark gray bark, and the wood inside is white with black speckles.

The branches are tall, rigid and upright with dozens of twigs that and are covered with copious amounts of huge, asymmetrical, leaves with irregular edges. The leaves themselves are found in purple and sky blue varieties, rigid and fuzzy.

It produces handfuls of small, blood red flowers with 9 kidney-shaped shaped petals. They are very delicate and have a delicate scent that smells like cotton. In late spring it forms medium-sizedgrey seed pods.
