Creamy Petal

Flower type: Biennial (Stores water in its stem)

This massive flower grows up to 14.9 feet (4.5 meters) tall. Its green stems grow from the base of the plant in bunches of 5 and are thick and straight, and split into many branching stems at the base, and the giant, cream leaves are needle-like with smooth edges. 16 leaves grow at the base of the stem.

Two medium-sized flowers sit at the end of the stem. The flowers are 49 cm (19.3 inches) wide, with white petals and a lime central disk. The flower head is shaped like a bowl made up of several raised, round-tipped petals. They are very delicate.

It has an overpowering scent that smells like paint, and it has lots of pollen; it can can cause allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator.
