Crimson Moss

This red moss is commonly found blanketing large areas In rainforests, In bogs, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is massive, growing up to 1.5 feet (46 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches, and is extremely robust.
When mature, emerald circular capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release thousands of spores.
